Short answer: Sticking doors and sloping floors can relate to foundation movement—but they can also come from humidity, door hardware, framing, flooring install, or normal house aging. Look at the pattern: one sticky door after a humid week is different from several doors and floors changing together after dry or wet spells.

- Multiple doors or windows start sticking in the same area of the house
- Floors slope toward one side or feel uneven room to room
- Gaps appear under interior doors or at the top of the door frame
- Sticking shows up along with new cracks or exterior gaps
- Problems ease or worsen when the ground is very wet or very dry
